Oulton Park sparks

It was Oulton Park for the 3rd weekend of the 2021 Ginetta GT4 Supercup championship. The weekend started dramatically in qualifying with the session being red flagged and cancelled after just 10 minutes due to multiple cars struggling in the tricky conditions. We would start in 6th having not set a competitive lap. In Race 1 a good start had us challenging for 3rd into turn 1. However an unfortunate mistake at the final corner meant we were 14th at then end of the first lap. A mid race safety car, a fastest lap of the race and plenty of overtakes undid most of the damage finishing in 7th. After heavy delays due to multiple accidents our chaotic Race 2 got underway, 2 hours later then scheduled! A great start meant we were 3rd at the end of lap one and after an accident behind the safety car was brought out. It was a heavy battle for 2nd and by flag fall it was just out of reach, briefly dropping to 4th before regaining 3rd place, capped off a solid weekend and keeping our 100% record of podiums at every weekend.
